NATURALTECH 2019 SHOWS LAUNCHES AND TRENDS ALIGNED WITH THE SEARCH FOR A HEALTHIER LIFE

Fair is the best opportunity for companies to seek products increasingly searched by their clients and consumers.

According to the international research institute Euromonitor, gluten- and lactose-free, organic, fortified, functional, probiotic and energetic foods are among the trends for food in 2019. Institute also pointed out that conscious consumption, veganism and well-being animal in addition to the food, cosmetics and fashion industries are also up this year.

Still according to Euromonitor, the segment of healthy products – all gluten- and lactose-free food or beverage, with reduction or suppression of unhealthy components and that have beneficial characteristics and organic certification – moved R$ 92.5 million in Brazil in 2017, an increase of 9.5% over 2012.

Main meeting of the sustainable universe in the Country, NATURALTECH – Fair of Healthy Food, Supplements, Natural Products and Health confirms in concrete way this growth. Together with BIO BRAZIL FAIR | BIOFACH LATIN AMERICA – International Fair of Organic Products and Agroecology, the 15th edition of the event from June 5 to 8, at Anhembi, brings together 672 exhibitors, an increase of 33% compared to 2018, in an area of 35 thousand m2.

All NATURALTECH exhibitors companies are committed to sustainability and have in their mix products such as gluten- and lactose-free, functional and probiotic, integral, vegan and vegetarian, diet and light, nutraceuticals, super foods, cosmetics and clothing natural and vegan, herbal, pet line, honey and derivatives, sports nutrition and esthetics, essential oils and candles, supplements and shakes, spices, complementary treatments, utensils and many others.

In order to serve their customers and consumers, thousands of professionals visit NATURALTECH in search of the launches and trends presented each year. Among them, buyers of academies, clubs, wholesalers, clinics, hospitals, distributors, pharmacies, hotels, spas, shopkeepers, bakeries, restaurants, supermarkets and a large number of chefs, gastronomes, nutritionists, nutrologists, therapists and also end consumers, who can buy in small quantities directly from producers and manufacturers.

Opening every day to the public, who can taste and purchase products in small quantities directly with the exhibitors, helps to spread the habits of a healthy life, encourages consumption and helps in the development of the whole chain.

International
Together, NATURALTECH and BIO BRAZIL FAIR | BIOFACH LATIN AMERICA will have more than 30 international exhibitors from 13 countries – Germany, Austria, Chile, South Korea, Spain, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Pakistan, Peru and Portugal. Fairs also receive a delegation of buyers from Canada, Chile, United States and Peru, headed by ABBA – Brazilian Association of Exporters and Importers of Food Beverages and ABIMAP – Brazilian Association of Industries of Biscuits, Pasta and Industrialized Breads and Cakes.

Business Roundtables
In addition to the businesses carried out at the stands, BIO BRAZIL FAIR | BIOFACH LATIN AMERICA and NATURALTECH promote Business Roundtables. There are 1,020 meetings pre-scheduled among 115 exhibiting companies and 34 buyers invited from eight states (Espírito Santo, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso do Sul, Paraná, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and São Paulo) and Federal District.

Meetings, scheduled to 5 and 6 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., take place outside the stands, in a reserved and exclusive place. With the initiative, exhibiting companies have the opportunity to show their products directly and personally to potential large clients, with real possibilities to consolidate businesses and open new markets.

In 2018, Roundtables yielded 399 meetings among 149 exhibiting companies and 19 buyers, with expectations of almost R$ 16 million in businesses for the next 12 months.

Subject
NATURALTECH offers a wide and varied programming to its visitors, with forums, seminars, lectures, classes and workshops aiming to extend the experience of professionals and consumers with the sustainable universe.

2nd Panel of Organic and Natural Cosmetics: It deals with the novelties, challenges and benefits of a market that does not stop growing, and it demystifies doubts as to the durability and quality of these products. It is aimed at shopkeepers, industries, consumers, makeup artists, beauticians, masseurs and therapists, curated by Bioart and Francal Feiras. Days 6 and 7 at Arena Inspiração. 12th Seminar SVB – Vegetarianism in Focus: With organization of Brazilian Vegetarian Society and Francal Feiras, the seminar explains and reflects on veganism, its benefits and how to become a vegan. Day 8 at Arena Conhecimento.

11th Vegetarian Cooking Festival: In a further partnership with SVB, fair offers free show classes of vegan recipes with renowned chefs, tasting and interaction not only with vegan and vegetarian consumers but also with interested in healthy food and the public general of the fair. Every day at K/M-15-16 Streets.

Aromatherapy on Agenda: Among the practices prioritizing integral and individual assistance and reducing pharmacological prescriptions, Aromatherapy is one of the most popular. At the meeting,
experts discuss the essential oils and their use inside and outside medicine. Day 7 at Arena Conhecimento.

Exhibitors Lecture Cycle: An opportunity for shopkeepers and general public to get to know exhibitors’ products in more detail through presentations and demonstrations. Every day at Arenas Vivência and Inspiração.
Cycle of Lectures with Chefs Gourmet: Chefs of renowned restaurants highlight organic and sustainable gastronomy. Every day at Arena Inspiração.

Sustainability Nutrition: Experts talk about “How to combine sustainability and nutrition: Functional Nutrition impacting Agroecology”. Day 5 at Arena Conhecimento.

Personare: The biggest portal of contents and service of self-knowledge and well-being in Brazil offers a special program to talk about the balance of emotions and how they affect the relationship with food. Every day at Arena Inspiração.
IV Meeting of Integrative Practices and Aromatology in Practice: Free attendance at stations of Art Therapy, Mandala therapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Sensorial and Vibrational Touch, Therapeutic Look, Transcultural Health, Relaxation and Well-being. Day 8 at Arena Vivência.
