Award Clean Beauty: The First Clean Beauty Awards in Brazil

The search for more natural, sustainable and safe products has never been greater. And to recognize the brands that make a difference in the cosmetics, hygiene and cleaning segment, the Bio Brazil Fair | Biofach Latin America and Naturaltech trade fairs are launching the Clean Beauty Award, the first award focused exclusively on clean beauty in Brazil.

The concept of “clean beauty” goes beyond choosing natural products. It represents a commitment to transparency, safety and sustainability, avoiding ingredients that are harmful to health and the environment. This global movement, which has strengthened during the pandemic, is expected to reach around 37.65 billion dollars by 2028, according to Research and Markets, a global market research and intelligence platform.

What is Award Clean Beauty?

The Award Clean Beauty is the first award in Brazil dedicated exclusively to recognizing innovative products in the clean beauty sector. The awards will take place during the 19th Bio Brazil Fair | Naturaltech, which will be held from June 11 to 14, in the Anhembi District, in São Paulo (SP).

The award will recognize competing products for the quality of their ingredients, clean formulation and positive impact on the organic and natural market. To compete for the award, the products must be from exhibiting brands confirmed for the next edition of the fairs.

“The Clean Beauty Award celebrates the maturing of the clean beauty market in Brazil. Brands are increasingly focused on innovation, safe formulations and sustainability, following a global trend of conscious consumption. This recognition values those who are transforming the sector and bringing consumers closer to products in line with the new standards of beauty and well-being,” says Valeska Ciré, head of product at Bio Brazil Fair and Naturaltech.

Award Clean Beauty entry categories

The Clean Beauty Award will have the following entry categories:

• Sustainability and Environmental Impact – Ecological practices and socio-environmental responsibility.
• Innovation – Solutions and technologies that transform the clean beauty sector.
• Market – Brands driving the growth and popularization of clean beauty.
• Special Feature – the product with the highest score will be recognized as the Best Product of the Year!

Now in their 19th year, the Bio Brazil Fair and Naturaltech fairs have established themselves as the biggest business events in the organic and natural products sector in Latin America. The events take place simultaneously and bring together companies, professionals and consumers in an environment dedicated to innovation, networking, sustainability, health and well-being.

In 2024, the fairs welcomed more than 57,000 visitors from 15 countries and presented 1,700 leading brands in the sector. The first two days of the events, June 11 and 12, will be exclusive to businesses and health professionals. On June 13 and 14, the event will open its doors to the general public.
